Jared has over a decade of engineering experience spanning numerous industries including finance, biomedical engineering, defense, robotics, textiles, manufacturing, software development, IT, hardware products, emergency services, embedded systems, and signal processing. He’s worked with over a half-dozen startups and has close to a decade of management experience, with a variety of roles at early stage and startup companies, including C-level positions. Additionally, he has over 15 years of emergency services experience, and works closely with numerous Public Safety organizations. Jared received numerous awards including induction into Eta Kappa Nu (the Electrical Engineering honor society), induction into Mensa, and the Eagle Scout award. Jared has served as an Adjunct Professor of Electrical Engineering at Cooper Union and provides consulting services in the areas of data science, analytics, product management/development, blockchain, disruptive technology, strategy, project management, emergency services, and IT. Jared is currently a VP at BNY Mellon where he serves as the Deputy Global Head and North American Lead of the Emerging Business & Technology group, a firm wide group primarily focused on Distributed Ledger and other disruptive technologies.

Jonathan S. Rouach is the co-founder and CEO of QED-it, a privacy platform for blockchains using advanced cryptography (zero-knowledge-proof). Before that, he co-founded a blockchain security company (sold to Digital Asset Holding), co-founded the Israeli Bitcoin Association, and co-founded Bits of Gold LTD, the leading Bitcoin exchange in Israel. Jonathan is an Electrical-Engineer from the Technion, served in the Israeli Military Intelligence, and gives lectures on blockchain technology and competitive intelligence.

Marc is a Director in Microsoft’s Applied Innovation team where he focuses on scaling emerging business and technology scenarios for Microsoft. His current focus areas include Blockchain and Smart Buildings. Marc’s career has included architecture, consulting, engineering, evangelism, and strategy leadership roles at startups, enterprises, ISVs and CSVs. He has worked in Europe, Latin America, Asia, and the United States and his work has been featured in a number of mainstream media outlets including ABC, Advertising Age, AdWeek, TechCrunch, Ars Technica, the BBC, CNET, the Telegraph, FastCompany, Mashable, Wired, and ZDNet. He has 12 issued patents and 15 patents pending in the areas of cloud, mobile, and social. Marc is the author of four books on services and identity. He is also the technical editor of a book on Microservices with Docker on Microsoft Azure.

Gadi Ruschin is an active member in the international trade industry. For the past 12 years he managed a buying office in China and took an active part in his family’s sourcing activities in Egypt and India. He is currently the CEO of Wave, a company which allows members of the supply-chain a direct exchange of documents in a decentralized environment. It supports paperless trade for all members of the supply-chain without changing any current workflows or documents. Using the blockchain technology, Wave tracks the ownership over shipping documents without damaging their negotiability or the need to trust a third party.

Avi is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years experience in technology (software, hardware, mobile and internet) and finance related businesses. Avi graduated with a BSc. Engineering and went on to be a founder / co-founder of eight ventures in South Africa, Europe and the USA, which were exited successfully to private equity, acquirers or via IPO’s. In 2010, Avi received the Johnnie Walker Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Today Avi serves on a number of boards of technology and finance companies, assisting them with the challenges of growing their businesses. Avi is also an advisor to a number of private equity and venture capital funds in Europe and the USA and makes investments globally as a partner at Entrée Capital.
